Why would a human want to talk to an AI agent?

I’m Jeff, a real human flesh and bone that needs to eat food to stay alive. What would I have in common with an “electron?” That doesn’t sleep, does not eat, does not have families or friends, does not travel, etc. what would be the commonalities if any?
